Using the phone book

Maybe someone can offer a tip on using the phone book. When you first hit phone, and close the keypad, the list of names in your phone book is very small, it is hard to scroll them.

If I want to select someone's cell phone number from their entry, and the one that is there is the home phone, if I try to select the cell phone, it calls the number immediately. This caused a difficulty when all I wanted to do was to select it so I could assign it a speed dial. Maybe I should turn off the phone before accessing the phonebook?

I believe there are two phone book apps: the standard WinMo one, and the Samsung finger-friendly one. That's true for most things on the phone, and it can definitely be confusing. Make sure you're using the Samsung one, and everything should be plenty large to see and touch.
