I'm thinking of getting an iPhone 3G but I know it has some limitations, and I'm wondering if its worth it to Jailbreak it and voiding the warranty. Just wondering the pros and cons and if its worth it thanks for the help.

I have an unlocked iPhone 3g and 2g. I have no problems at all with them running slow or anything. I do not believe it steals your personnal information also. If so please show me exactly where you got your information from.

Well, first of all, Jailbreaking and unlocking the iPhone are two COMPLETELY different things. Unlocking makes it possible to use the iPhone with different carriers which I personally wouldn't recommend in the US.
Jailbreaking just lets you customize your whole phone and use 3rd party applications. If you just Jailbreak it (make sure you use the right software for your phone) you won't lose warranty. If you have any issues with your phone after you Jailbreak it, you can just restore your phone with iTunes and everything is back to normal. So no worries about warranty. Hope that helped! Let me know if you have any more questions. 😉
