Hey fellow scoopers, I have 2 questions, first is, what's a good ring tone program that I can use that will work with 2.1?? i followed some instructions that I found online, but I only got as far as making a ring tones folder in my itunes and on my iPhone. Is it as simple as changing the file name and click and drag or is there more?
Also how can I convert my videos to MPEG-4 so that they will work on my phone, Thanks for your help 😁

i watched a similar video on youtube on hoe to make ringtones in itunes. You have to make it and drag it to your desktop then rename the file and drag it back to itunes and set it as a ringer. Search how to make ringtones in itunes for 3g iphone you will find it.

Well lets see I hope you are never out of a 3g service area cause even when you turn it off and run on edge it either very weak or a nonexistant signal. Yes battery life is awful. The browser tends to freeze or kick you out all the way back to the apps screen. Dropped call are semi-frequent however a lil better since the 2.1 update...all in all there are better phones on the market for the money..and many even better to come soon....you can do a lot worse than an iphone...but you can also do much much better.

For ringtones, have you tried www.audiko.net? Pretty much every song you can imagine and saves directly to iTunes. Totally free. I've loaded about 10 tones to my iPhone this way.

Lots of third party apps for movies. Though purchased DVDs are protected and are difficult-if not impossible- to convert.

myxer. com is really simple. Just make sure that the ringtone isn't longer than 30-40 sec.
