Has anyone have a success in getting EAS to work with the iPhone 3G?

IMAP is working but not EAS!

I have enabled Activesync on the user's profile on the server side but nothing works on the iPhone. So I'm having my boss settle with IMAP4.

I can't seem to get my "Incoming" mail to work. I can send emails just fine with exchange, in fact, its faster than IMAP.

I feel like I can't get the incoming mail setting correct for a lot of applications, like WD's passport esseential which has an outlook style POP3 setup. I can send but not recieve with that too, so maybe its just me and my server.

According to the link below, it is that simple. But it does not work for me.

I tried it, it didn't work for me either.

I actually deleted my old exchange account to make this one, and now I can't even send emails via exchange. Same settings, strange.

It is the Active Sync server address I can't find. It doesn't say it is any different on my exchange server, but my normal one didn't work.

Well, I turned my IMAP account back on, and now I can send emails via my exchange account. Strange, they must pick up the slack of the exchange, but why?

Still cannot recieve email in exchange account.

I feel it is an activesync issue

I thought it was strange that my exchange account, which did not work, sent emails faster than my IMAP, so I did some looking and found this:

neither have worked, but it seems to be an issue.

Well, my boss is okay with the IMAP. I'll let him stay with it. He doesn't care about Contact or Calendar to sync with our exchange. He maintains separate Contacts and Calendar on his iPhone.

As far as I know, I have configured everthing I know necessary on our Exchange Server and Active Directory, and on the iPhone for Exchange Active Sync but it does not work.

Good luck to you.
