I haven't had a NEW phone for over 3 years, and I need one bad. I really like the look of the LG env2.

I don't text a lot, b/c I am single at the moment. Is the env2 worth all the trouble I have heard about dailing while in pockets(big concern), crappy keyguard, no flash, autofocus, no lens protection, limited external display etc etc.

Plus, is the phone too girly??? I would get the black version, but its seems to me, having that thing flipped open all the time, idk....

Since I don't text all the time, and would prop would text while it was closed, is the phone worth it???

I have just heard LG makes a way better phone than moto/samsung. It has great battery life, and I can't get over the look of it.

Help me out, b/c...

Pocket dialing was fixed with the most recent software update. The camera definitely has its ups and downs. It's a great resolution, but the lack of flash sucks.

As far as the phone looking too girly... I'm a guy and I use the black one. I love it, I didn't think twice about it looking girly or anything.

However if you won't be using the internal full keypad very often it's really not going to feel worth it. The true worth of the phone isn't really evident unless you use it opened.

LG is good for reliability though!

Hope that helps.

I've had the enV2 for a couple of months now. overall its a great phone but but in regard to your comment about using the front screen to text, several of my friends and I have been experiencing problems with the front keypad. for example the OK button doesn't work and I'm also have problems with the 0, star, and pound buttons.

I suppose I should also mention that my phone has had no exposure to water, nor was it ever dropped or damaged in any way. other than the problems with the front keypad its a great phone.
