I got this phone at the end of may, and since then my phone dies at 2 bars, no matter what. ive exchanged for a new model once, new batts 3 times. i know it isnt my charger because it does this on the phone before i even charge it. i really only notice when i am on a call, but as soon as it gets 2 or below bars, low battery starts going off and it dies within minutes.anybody else have this issue?

and anybody have any ideas what i should try? im getting tired of waiting 2 hours at verizon for them to screw me over.

well did you charge your battery for the first time overnight and not til it becomes full. never initially charge with the car or usb charger. Only use the wall charger for a true full charge. sounds like user error to me. 😉

haha yeah i let it charge while i slept, luckily enough it always died when i was on it before i went to bed. i thought maybe i was somehow overcharging it, so with the next battery i only let it charge until it read "full" rather than just letting it charge the 8 hours while i slept. same issue

and i only use the wall charger

I had the same question. Check the following link. A couple of posts down, Humpa gives a good explanation as to battery life.
