Two questions:
1. If I get a new Pearl 8120, do I have to get a Blackberry plan added to my plan? Or can I just get the phone?
2. What are the rates for ATT's Blackberry data plans?

You do not need to get the Blackberry package added to the rate plan if you do not want, but it makes the Blackberry worth getting.
The BlackBerry Personal add on is $30.00 a month and it comes with unlimited data usage.
The BlackBerry Personal Bundle is $50.00 a month, same as personal, just with unlimited messaging as well.
And then the BlackBerry Personal with tethering is $60.00 a month, which gives you 5 GB data usage for your BlackBerry, with tethering.
