For the love of god, can verizon just make an all black phone! It's a phone for business users...you dont need a bright red border around the damn thing. it looks ridiculous. sorry for the rant...carry on...

early sept is two weeks away and I have heard NOTHING about the curve coming out on vzw. Im not trying to be a jerk about it, but i just feel like there would have a been a few leaks about release dates and such...this is a pretty anticipated phone.

second...I know where the curve is currently. My original post was concerning any news on a verizon release. The guy I was responding to claimed it was going to be out very soon, but wouldn't back up his info
Basically all I was sayin is that if this phone was going to come out "soon" Im sure we would have heard some info on it.

They actually will be making this for business users soon. The model is called the Q9c. Not sure what the differences are but I am guessing they will remove the camera for the Q9c.

That color scheme was the single most striking feature about the Q9M. As soon as its picture popped up on the website I thought, "I want that!"
Having needed a PDA upgrade for awhile now, was already looking, but the black & red just made it irresistible. And just like a previous poster said, the Ferrari laptop caught my eye in exactly the same way. Along with the nice red-striped Motorola Bluetooth stereo headphones. Want those too.
I consider myself fortunate that Verizon loves to splash my favorite colors on everything, and am one of the few who actually want the UI to stay red. 🙂

i 100% agree!!!!!! whoever made that decision in version should be fired!! whoever made that decision doesn't know anything about fashion or what's cool. don't try and color sync a rad phone with the colors of the corp logo, it isn't that cool. back'n black i tell you.

You don't put a bright red border on a BUSINESS PHONE...its ridiculous and adds nothing to the phone. Yes, I know verizon has black phones, but it just seems like they have an overwhelming number of grey/silver phones

It's actually not as bright as you might think. It's really more of a deep red. I have had many a compliment on it so far. It is very elegant, yet kinda sporty. I like it a lot.
