Battery Life
How is the battery life of this phone in general, and specifically for verizon?? Better than past RAZRs?

I just got mine yesterday. So I can only tell you after a full charge overnight My phone lasted from 7am to about 530p when I was down to 1 bar after moderate use. (It did not tell me my battery was low either.) I put it on a car charger until 7p and still have full bars. Hope this helps. 🙂

One really needs to get at least 3 or 4 full discharge/charge cycles on these batteries before they will get full capacity out of them.
Yes, that's with LiIon.
After doing that, if you want to see how long the battery lasts, clear your timer and either call another cell (that's plugged in)or do it at night when the minutes are free. Let it run until it shuts off. I've seen 3Hrs 20 minutes on a standard V3M battery. I've also seen 2 hours on a bad one.
Check the timer for either the call or total minutes.
This will give you a realistic talk time.

I just want to add that by "full discharge/charge" it implies letting the phone die completly (not until it says "low battery") and for you to not touch it at all until it charges to full.
My V9M lasted a good 2-3 hours on standby and limited use after saying "low battery." Had to play that stupid Prince song on repeat until it finally died.
