Can you watch video with phone closed?

I got the chocolate on Friday and have a few videos on it now and was wondering if you can watch them with the slider shut. Every time I try it shuts off the video. Thanks for the help.

Just don't open the slider. Go to the videos with the phone closed and watch them. You don't need to open it to watch movies.
