I bought it off of ebay ... probably if anyone gets it will be AT&T ... but i don't like all those damn locks they put on the phone and the stupid added content so i will continue to buy unlocked ebay phones ... the phone frickin rocks i really haven't found a fault with it yet other than the fact that these apes where i work keep reaching for it cause it has pretty lights.

Yes it can be used as a modem. the signal is pretty good i have been in kentucky pa, oh and west virginia and no problems with calls ... battery is pretty good i charge it every 3 or 4 days with moderate use ... obviously if i use it alot as a walkman is needs charging every two days
