Verizon - 2 Questions about web browsing

Any chance for cheap pay-as-you-go vcast web browser? I don't need web browsing often, and speed isn't a concern either. But I'm not able to shell out $45 a month for high speed access....

I am really buying this for a good phone PDA with a decent camera. But the net would be a nice benefit.

I assume I can always use the WIFI for free net browsing without a data plan, right?

I think VZ just dropped that $45 to $30. Might want to go check it out.

that would be great, but i just spoke to vzw yesterday and he said $45, maybe i was a day early...$30 would be my upper limit, $45 is just outrageous.
