omg... verizon!!!
it sucks....i stopped by verizon today to ask about the 6800 and its release date, and i found out that its not coming out on 7/15. the guy said that bugs still had to be fixed, and that we would have to wait a couple more weeks until its release date.

The only bugs is the one flying around VZW's head, I think they are more interested in selling TV phones or some other LG manfisation, and to those who want them, fine. Could be the are waiting for the EVDO-A upgrade and sell it then, dunno?

I heard from my verizon guy that I shouldn't expect it to be in my hands until mid September. This is borderline worthy of switching carriers

Actually, a slide from an internal Verizon presentation was posted last night on pdaphonehome and howardforums. That slide, and others, state a "September 2007" release for the i760, "October 2007" release for the 6800, and a "November 2007" release for the 755p.
I can only imagine that this stradegy is based on eliminating the possibility for subscribers to take advantage of the 30-day Worry Free.

What do you guys think is the "better" PPC i760 or the 6800 and for that matter the touch? I am dying to upgrade my Piece of S Razor from Verizon and wanted to get the TOUCH but I don't know how long I can wait my every 2 has been due for months and months but I keep waiting for a cool phone and I thought the touch would be it but I haven't heard anything about Verizon getting it not getting it and God only knows how long it would take to get anyways!!! So my question pound for pound i760 vs 6800 vs Touch? PS I have never had a PPC phone before... so be kind .. only think I know is that the 6800 has a better camera and looks a little slimmer.
