yes its possible,the iphone is capable of mms and gps to,its just a matter of them giving the go ahead.....

Is it really?? Ive heard both from a bunch of people, I don't know who to believe.

Many say that it is capable of 3G, GPS and MMS with the current hardware, it just needs a firmware upgrade

and many also say that it is NOT capable of 3G and GPS based on the current iphone unit and that a new iphone/hardware will have to be released

which is true??

The latter. It doesn't have a 3G chipset because the ones available within the timeframe of the iPhone's development cycle sucked too much power. It does not have a GPS receiver either.

Except MMS is an odd one. It is VERY likely that the iPhone is physically capable of MMS (since it does both data and SMS), but that it's a software limi...

well there was a 3rd party app you could send mms but since the update 1.1.2 it got rid of the ability it real sucks too because now my ibrate doesnt work. ( IBRATE is a 3rd party app that will turn your iphone into a vibrator) 🤣
