iphone rants / wishlist from Verizon customer :)
I am a verizon customer of 5+ years, which is almost sure I'm going to get an iphone and switch to AT&T... so I'm not here to bash or stir up trouble, but I wanted to post my pet peeves about this phone.
1. No pic messaging - are you kidding? Standard feature on almost any phone for the last 2 years. No excuses. The iphone should be able to do this. I know you can "email" pictures, but I heard the website you go to in order to view them is horrible, and it doesnt let you save the picture, just expire.
2. No video camera - This I can live with, but come on, another feature available in almost every other half decent phone of the last few years. If you have an 8 gig device with a great lens and display, you can actually save and enjoy...

You have to be kidding. Not only am I an iphone owner but sell them all day as well. One of the funniest things to me is when people make a list of what a phone doesnt have. Especially when that list is of things that Apple never claimed the phone would have. Its a great device, and if you like its capabilities get it. If not find a device that has what you are looking for.

come on dude, you're going to honestly say that this hi-tech, state of the art, 2mpx camera'd, 8gb storing phone shouldn't come with pic messaging abilities?? lol. It SHOULD have a video camera too.
But as I mentioned, even with these features missing the device is still incredible - I'm well aware it offers many things that other phones do not offer.
And by the way, with any phone that is released, customers will have "wishlists", it's not just the iphone so don't be so defensive.

On item #1:
There is no web site to view the email photos. It's email. If you can't save the photo you sent in email then it's an issue with your email providor.
MMS is one feature many expect to be added in later software updates. However Apple has given no such indication and they tend not to speculate on future enhancements or features.

Great post pictor! Get the iphone it is a sweet phone. If you want something with some of those other features look at the tilt, moto Qh, or blackjack 2. I prefer the iphone because I dont need all the microsoft functions. It is a beautiful phone with a smooth interface.

OK. Well about the ranting and raving I think we all know about the pic msg and the video so yeah old news and how you want it to do power point excel..etc its a phone not a PDA.
