Prada/KS20 KILLS iPhone
Until I saw the Prada myself I would have thought it was better then the iPhone. It is a lot smaller then the iPhone and feels much better in my hands. Its camera is just as good as the iPhone although has a mirror and flash. It has a smaller screen although is touch screen just like the iPhone. The KS20 has everything that the iPhone has and even operates on Windows Mobile 6. It is also cheaper then the iPhone. The real difference in the iPhone and Prada/KS20 is the memory. Although with the memory card slot built in the Prada/KS20 the memory can be expanded.

I was watching a cnet video on the prada and it had a regular numeric keypad..of course it was touchscreen. that would kill the deal with me. From what I saw in the video the interface looked rather confusing and what is the pricing on the prada? unless they rename it..anything with the word prada on it is going to have a prada price tag. ex. 500$$ for a 6 inch hand bag that says prada.

I don't know about the US pricing, But a relative of mine just got one for FREE in Germany with her plane. But then again everything (in phones) is cheaper out there.

The price announced by LG for the Prada is 600 Euros. That would be about oh... only $833 dollars (US) at the current exchange rate.

Because I know what I want in a phone and I couldn't do half the stuff with that phone that I do with my regular phone now which is (check the name) so thats what I have to say about that I mean having a phone because it is hyped up and "everyone thinks is cool" is not my reason for having a phone because I don't buy phones because of hype or what the media outlets say about it I get phones for what I need them for which most people that are buying it have really no clue of why they want it outside of the fact that its made from Apple and is overly hyped up. 😳 😎

the iphone is basically a fancy touchscreen that looks cool but has minimal functionality. no physical keyboard, no gps, no stylus, NOT even 3G, and mediocre call quality. All of this and you cant open office documents or copy and paste. When you ask an iphone user what they can do on their new 600 mp3 player/pseudo smartphone, all they can do is show you how they can shift through album covers with their finger. Again something very cool, but with little functionality

Good question, I decided to buy and Iphone and what a dissapointment that was! I can tell you their touchscreen can't be beat neither can the display, but after that it's all downhill from there.
The speaker phone can be used in places such as churches, a viewing at a funeral home or a library other than that it's volume is useless in anything much noisier than the above. Actually using the earpiece is much the same, just a tiny bit louder
Now lets talk about the ringer. I carry all my phones in a case, all my phones have lasted for years because they were protected in a case. Well put an Iphone in a case, then put it in your pocket, you will not hear it ring so you better put it on vibrate which depending how close to, well you kno...

Don't bet on it. My last 3 phones have been LG, with VZW, and all 3 have had problems. LG is not as good as everybody thinks. US providers keep messing with the software and killing all the phones.

Well, its VZW that messes everything up. For example the VZW razr sucks. Anyways, Windows Mobile Six is better then apple OS X. It has more features and is compatible with more 3rd party apps. I am not trying to say that the iphone is the worst phone but the Prada is better. I have tried both for myself. I even had the iphone although it was big and way to fragile for me to handle. Plus it is bigger and even though it has a lot of internal memory built in doesn't mean that there should be no memory card slot. Even though it would cost more I rather just have it because I am already spending a fortune on it. Moving pictures, music and videos is much easier with a memory card slot. I transfer stuff to or from the memory card fast. iTunes also ...

I personally own the iphone and compared to other UI's such as windows mobile, I think apple wins. Yea WM might have more applications avaible but the apps apple give you are well put together and all work flawlessly. as for a memorycard slot, with 4 to8 gigs of memory i dont see why thats neened. I tunes couldnt make it any easier to transfer songs and photos along with videos and everything else. I perosonally love the youtube application. When on wifi the videos look better than they do on the computer. For as much as you touch the screen mine at least dosent get very dirty. And as for not being able to type, well i just wrote this whole message in about 50 seconds.

Well I can see that because you have a lot of errors and abbreviations in the post. When you connect the iPhone to the computer it takes a while for everything to load. With Windows Media you can delete items from your computer without it being erased from your phone. Even though there is 4-8 GB on the iphone doesn't mean it is enough memory for music, video, picture as well as other apps that need memory. It is also big for a phone without a keyboard.

Hmmm, here is the reason I will never buy a PRADA. THE NAME. When a company uses a copyrighted name they have to pay royalties to that company, so you have to figure part of the price of that phone is going to be the royalty payment for using the name.

You go to a clothing store and sitting there are two ordinary T-Shirts, one is plain white, made out of good quality material and the price is $5.99.
