HATERS!!

No one should even talk crap about this phone. When you have one in your had and you see all the cool things it does in person, you would take your words back.

If this phone was on verizon, sprint, t-mobile or whoever the people who love or work for those companies would be backing this phone 100% you might not want one, but you wouldn't say it was crap. And the price, well what do you expect from apple. If the price was low people wouldn't buy any ipods. If it was $300 why would anyone buy an ipod video??? Think about it.

And how are you going to bring in issues like coverage of a company and how many towers it takes to get a signal to trash the phone?? That makes no sense. Thats like sprint comparing evdo to edge?

i work for, have phone service through, and like sprint, but i can still list for you phones that are crap that i absolutely wouldn't stand behind. the RAZR and UPSTAGE are at the top of the list. so don't be so quick to assume what people would support if and when...

coverage of a company and all that is very much a pertinent issue because what's the point of buying such an expensive phone if you're in a poor coverage area and you can barely use it? meh?

sprint doesnt have any good phones at all. your best music phone is the upstage and even a sprint rep says its crap. and sprint talking about coverage, you guys are bleeding all over the place, losing customers left and right. i look at your coverage map and it show coverage all across the map and thats bullshit. when i had sprint (see if this sounds familier) dropped calls, no coverage in places there map shows it does, bill issues all the time, horrible cust service

my fusic works great, i liked my sanyo, i've a friend who's loving her katana... no they're not all crap.

my sprint phone works out in b.f.e. new mexico, where my family's verizon phones don't even get a signal. the only time i have a problem with dropped calls is when i'm on the phone with my boyfriend, and his cingular phone is the one doing all the dropping. in 19 months i've had one billing issue.

im sure we're all very proud of where we work and what we sell. the fact of the matter is none of us can garantee a customer 100% coverage anywhere, especially as sales agents.
there is not "the best phone out" anywhere, me like everybody else have differnt needs, im doing just as well with my blackjack as my coworkers with their 8525 and my friends who sell verizon with their treo's. if you want the iphone, get it. if you dont like it return it or live with it. it might be the best device for you but not for me. after reading all the pros and cons, i decided to spend $600 on anything else that will make me happy.

stillcingular, you bring up excellent points. i've been on sprint only, so nothing to compare it to really (unless you count the few occasions i've used my boyfriend's cingular phone, which i hate, and a short time on a friend's verizon family plan), but it's done well for me so i've not bothered to shop around. no reason to. i didn't replace my sanyo b/c it was a crappy phone, i replaced my sanyo because i wanted an mp3 player. it's all in what the consumer is looking for and what's best for that particular person.

for the record, i hate my job. it's incredibly tedious and i'll grant that a lot of things are rather subpar compared to other companies (cust. svc. tends to suck - i say that as a CS rep too! we need to offer more phon...

yeah i know.....we have a CS support in India which i hear is where most of the problems begin. Personally i think it all started after the Sprint-Nextel merger...

nope, india call center reps with sprint have been going on for as long as i remember, the annoying thing is getting to them after going through all the automated bs. The one thing i love about Verizon is i can get an english speaking care rep on my phone in under 30sec, no bs, *611, enter your #, hit 0, bam instant help.

the best phone for sprint is NOT the upstage. That's just the newest and coolest. The best phone is the Fusic. And the Musiq will probably be the new and best when it arrives next month. "A sprint rep said this..."
Why does being a sprint rep give instant credibility? It could have been his first week, and he's just repeating what his co-workers opinion is.
I work for sprint, t-mobile, and alltel. The upstage is our store demo phone, and it's fine. I personally turned down using it, because I didn't like one or two features. (the ascending ringtone).
Fusic is the best phone for Sprint, musically speaking. Most sprint reps own that phone.

I find it hard to believe that an LG could be the best phone for any company

The VX8300 is the top selling handset for Verizon, and is one of their least returned handsets. (LG makes up about 70% of all Verizon sales. Why is that?)

Now, the CU400 is the least returned handset for at&t. The Fusic for Sprint also falls into that list. Just because the phone does not say "Motorola" on it, means it's crap. But a good Motorola phone? Now that I find hard to believe!

"Now, the CU400 is the least returned handset for at&t"

Where did you get that info?
Wait, I'll tell you where you didn't get it. You didn't get it from at&t. Know why? Because it's not true.

Well i have an 8525. Have had it since last December. 8525 is better in all things except for web browser. iphone is unmatched by any. I know someone will throw 3g out there and thats true cause iphone doesnt have it. But with wifi the iphone's web browser runs circles around any phone, any carrier.

WiFi speeds depend on the network it is attached too. I have WiFi in my home, but only get around 1.3mbs per second data speed since that's the speed of my cable modem. New at&t handsets with 3G can reach speeds 3 times when I get at home on my WiFi. People complain about the lack of 3G because the data speeds are THAT much different.

If you hit a Hot Spot for WiFi and that location is connected to DSL, you may get speeds up too 800kb per second Vs 3.6mbs per second with the newer 3G handsets (RAZR V3xx and all future 3G handsets). That's a huge difference and why they complain.
