Why do ppl hate the iphone?
I don't understand why people hate the iphone. Just because it doesnt have 3g or any other crap doesn't mean it's not a good phone. And a lot people are trying to compare it to a damn pda. WTF is up with that? It's a entertainment phone for god sakes, not a blacberry, HTC, Treo etc. People just hate on it for stupid reasons and i'm tired of hearing it. If you dont like it, FINE!!!! Just don't buy it or dont'even look at it if you think your pda is far superior. 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿

I agree. i think people always want to hate on new things, point out all its flaws instead of the good things. I think the iphone looks cool. I don't want one, but that doesn't mean it sucks. It all depends on what your needs are, if you need a pda buy one, don't shoot this phone down cuz it's not a pda.

It's fine if people can't afford it, that's understandable. But how does one person not being able to afford it translate to it being a bad phone? I think for what it was made for and actually intended to do, it is pretty successful and will only continue to improve with the software updates coming in a couple months. Oh, and I don't get it when people dislike Apple and feel the need to bash every product that comes from them. Everyone likes different things and has different wants/needs, to each their own I guess.

I will have to agree with all your post, but one issue. The HTC Mongul is not the downgraded version of our 8525, check the stats. As much as I would love to say our 8525 is sitting on top, it is not anymore.

I'm sure it'll be a good phone, an ok internet device, and an good mp3 player.. But it isn't going to replace anybody's 30gb iPod or anyone's laptop.

people are just pointing out all the facts of the iphone..the commercial misleads the general masses...the keynote mislead the public...this phone was not presented as a phone...but as a device more revolutionary than the current pda's on the market. Now if people want to call the BS on that..provide proof of it..then its not hating...its educating the public.

a treo does about 99% of that and more...you can actually get a 16gb memory chip now...and it has motion tilt sensor, on the 700w and it has integrated google maps...well it doesnt have visual voice mail...but hows that so great...? next question buddy...?

People hate the IPHONE for a variety of reasons, one is, the phone portion doesn't have the same and normal features that all of us have gotten used to that are features in even the lowest priced phones, so for $600 bucks you get less as far as the phone features go, I'm not talking about the IPOD part of the phone, but if you compare the other IPODS to the IPOD portion of the phone you are getting less there also. For $600 bucks, plus tax and maybe having to pay off your old provider, this phone should have been a killer done deal phone, compared to nothing else in the world, well it isnt. Oh well maybe the next version will be.

I believe that some people actually DON'T like the phone....but there are far too many fanboys on here from other carriers who have no clue what it's about. The iphone succeeds big time based on certain factors. I have one and can say that it's not the best phone ever. Will I be returning it? The answer is no. What Apple did was make the phone fun. The interface is by far the easiest and coolest ever seen on a phone. My reception in the Boston area is just fine. It's about the same as my N75. The VZW boys found here are all too quick to throw the Prada out there as a better phone.
