well it depends on what you want and how much you want to spend and what you want your phone to do...

look into the
8525- most advanced of all phones, 3G speeds
8125- good phone, replaced by 8525 but 8125 is cheaper if money is a concern.
treo 680- user friendly for first time pda users, pretty simple to set up
blackjack- poor man's pda/smartphone device but it has 3G speeds and if all you need is email then you will be just fine. This phone cant edit documents but it can view them.

reception wise
samsung is great
the Nokia e62 is better because of battery life and other options it can do in email
both will take a beating as well
so if u drop it its not gonna break on contact
read the cnet reviews it will help greatly in deciding
plus take int consideration that u have 30 days when u purchase a phone to make a decision be4 u get stuck with it in the 2 year contract

hope that helps
