okay i want this phone because it has the keyboard and im a big texter so the keyboard would be great to have. Any way I dont need any data plan except for the texting..but since its a pda mobile pc what ever phone do you have to get the data plan in order for it to work?

no, I don't use the data plans either. Its great for syncing with with outlook and keeps track of my appointments.....no data plan needed

The store rep I talked to made it sound like the data plan was necessary... it's not. You can get unlimited text messaging for a fee though - on top of the call plan.
I bought mine through the website, a refurbished one - and it is like brand new, no problems so far 🙂
