A707 MicroSD memory Problems

SyncSucks

Jan 7, 2007, 6:20 PM
Is it just me or did Samsung blow it big time on this product? I purchased two of these phones and both have the same problem: Intermittent memory contact. Both using 1 GB SanDisk MicroSD memory modules & the socket for memory sucks in that you can press too far or not far enough & does not lock in like the blackjack to let you properly seat it. I an just under 30 days & seriously considering telling Cingular what they can do with their phones! Anyone else having problems with the memory modules dropping out (IE cannot play saved music after having played the day before) ☹️

I only had that when I tried to jam it all the way in there the first time. Took me a few tries, but I figured out how it's supposed to work. PUsh in till it clickes, then push it in the rest of the way. It's not that hard, I regularly remove and swap mine and haven't had a problem yet.

I also bought two sync's, and did have some intermittent card recognition problems at least a couple of times both phones, and one phone maybe 3 times...
they seem to be better this week, I'm hoping it was a learning problem 😛 [ha but hopeful nevertheless]
I still think these phones rock, just wish i could convince my work to get me one to replace my se s710, which is still OK, just not 3G

Has anyone noticed a decrease in the time it takes between photos when using the larger and faster memory cards?

Sorry, but its just you. 🤣 No seriously
i think its sandisk's fault. I've heard more about crap Sandisk memory cards then any other.

I have a Kingston 1Gb,no problems so far.
My only real complaint about this phone is the outer screen goes dark to fast. But that should be hacked soon.

HIGHSPEED.
