Samsung SCH-U740 Alias
Disapointed
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have had a very rough time with this phone. I have had this phone a little over 2 weeks now and am on my 2nd phone. The first one would not play any on my music. It was a problem with the phone reading off my card.
My second phone played the music as soon as I put the card in so I was very happy about that. Except now when I have the phone open to text I can slip my finger between the back and where the keys are.
I am very disapointed because I really like this phone, but I'm not sure its worth all the trouble. Going on three phone in three weeks is crazy I think.
Not sure what I will do, I'm thinking of going with the envy. Either that or I will go back to the old phone and wait fo...

I haven't had any problems with my music playing from my card. I use the SanDisk 512mb card. If you go to Verizon's website, it looks like there's a new Lg slimphone out. Don't know anything about it, but it looks pretty awesome.

To be honest, the only other phone that you could go too is the env. It is bigger if you have monster hands like me. I think if you stick with that phone a little longer you will be rewarded. That phone has email, nav, music, camera, everything. I was actually thinking about getting that phone and giving up my q.

I had an Env and there is a software glitch if you use the phones in "Tones Only" mode. So I went with the 740. Verizon exchanged my 740 because of an echo issue after recieving the 2nd one I had the echo issue again but the tech person fixed something in my account and no echo. I was offered the black verson of the 740 but who wants an all black phone I like the gold one better.

Hi, after alot of thought and comparing I decided to go with the ENV. So far I have made the right decision for me.
I will miss a couple of things about the 740. I liked the way you could add things to pics. Also I liked that there were many themes to choose from.
The ENV is just a better built phone all around. Its stronger, the screens are much clearer, and the reception is much better. I was at my moms today and with the 740 I was getting 2 bars each. When I looked today on the ENV I had 4 bars each. I was shocked. I was even able to get a bar in my basement. I never was able to do that with the 740. The camera and pic quality is much better as well. I saved my wallpaper pic onto my card and put it on this screen and it was ...
