BlackBerry Pearl 8100
Blackberrry is erasing all text messages/call logs
I can't figure out how to fix this problem I feel like it's a virus or something. I have checked all settings and messed with the phone to the 18th degree. Please give me feedback if anyone has deal with this problem or has solved it.

The BB Pearl has a known memory leak that has yet to be fixed.
Always make sure you have the latest firmware realeased by your provider or Blackberry.
to temporarily fix the problem, every once in a while (I do it every day or so) do a battery pull which will reset the memory.
Simply pull out the battery while phone is on, wait 30secs and replace the battery.
Here is another tip to help free up memory and make your BB run smoother.. clear the devices log by pressing and holding the ALT button and then press LGLG. Then press the BB button to the left of the ball and select CLEAR.
Also make sure you exit programs the right way from the menu and select close, not by just pressing the END button.
