I have tried to watch videos on the pearls browser (at youtube for example), and they keep sending me to the adobe site to get a flash player.
Once I'm there however it tells me that there is no player compatible with my device. Is this just not possible, or is there somewhere I should be looking?

thank you

There is no flash player available for Pearl so you'll have to convert the video to a Pearl compatible format and place it in the Pearl's video folder. The easiest way that I've found you could do this from YouTube is to convert the YouTube video at http://vixy.net/flv_converter to "mp4 for ipod format", then download it to your PC and then convert that video file using the free blackberry video converter (go to http://www.seabyrdtech.com/bbvideo to download the free app) Next place the converted file in the Pearl's(make sure you rename the file) video folder and voila it's done. It's that easy. Almost the same thing at Google video but easier as there is a download button there for most videos.
