Maxx is missing some e815 features

Overall the maxx is a very good phone, but a few small things bug me:

When i plug in the charger, the phone initially says battey charging but doesn't continue to do so. Its nice to see that message to confirm the plug hasn't come out of the wall socket beneath the desk. Plus there is no charge complete message (if the phone is on) - why not ?

The clock on the outside screen is tiny - any way to enlarge this ? (digital, not analog).

I greatly preferred the e815 contact list which showed both name and # in much larger font on the screen than the maxx. Any way to change the contact list display ?

Another minor annoying thing is that if you key in a letter to find someone on your contact list (say "A"), then pause, then key in an...

I love my E815. I understand your querks with the new maxx Ve, but all we can do is blaim Verizon. It's their UI ruining this great phone.

In the past, I would have agreed. But seeing how much the (proprietary crap, I knwo) VZW os has grown... with different color themes, more options, and better integration of functionality with the hardware... I personally think it's become livable. You really can't chastise a company for the tastes/quirks of the PERSON operating the phone. Where you two see those as strange things to deal with, others might be hooked on them from THEIR previous phones.

Personally, I like the idea of the clock not covering up the wallpaper that I painstakingly created. I have no vision problems (with my contacts in 😁 ) and this phone isn't made for the average octogenarian.. also the Verizon os usually shows a battery "filling up" when it's charging and...
