2gb memory card
I just bought this phone today about 2 hrs ago
so far haven't used it enough to report on anything else
I installed my 2gb transflash card in to the memory card slot but the phone doesn't recognize it
Is it the phone can't take a card so big or am I doing something wrong

The phone has to read the memory card contents from a specific folder structure (Verizon UI requirement, surprise, surprise). So, the phone will create these folders on your card automatically, but the card has to be empty first. You should copy the card contents to your PC, erase the card, place it back in the phone and power on the phone. You can now move the content back to the card with either windows media player (version 10 or greater), or directly to the card from your PC if the content is unprotected. If you want to get really crazy, you can access the memory card in the phone via your PC over Bluetooth OBEX and copy content over that way. Good luck.
