Ingredients:
1 - Mobile Office Kit for its cable (the office kit for the 8500 chocolate works.)

Directions:
Install USB drivers.
Install Bitpim 9.11
Plug cord into phone.
Plug phone into PC. Let the PC recognize the connection.
Start Bitpim.
Click 'Find Phone' (phone and magnifying glass icon)
Name your phone.
Click 'File' then 'Import' then 'Outlook Calendar'
Click 'Import'
(I think Outlook will launch)
Filter out the date range.
Click 'Replace ...

Will any cable work, or just the one from the mobile office kit? Do you actually need the mobile office kit if you have another cable (say, the one from the music essentials kit?)

From what the sales reps said, the MOK's cable won't work with the MEK. I'm not sure of the reverse.

They are the same cable, there is no significant difference. Your rep was blowing smoke. 🤨 You can even get a Generic USB-9900 data cable off ebay.
