Samsung SPH-A960
So, it's a fatter a900?
This is not going to sell well. This will be similar to the a940 in the fact that stores will probably have very limited supply. It will probably be around $349.99 before discounts, which puts it at a competitive disadvantage with it's own sister phone(s).
Maybe a few people like the styling, and for those people, it will sell. But to me as a rep, this will just fill the wall with something to look at. Most people will be attracted to the less expensive a920 which adds a transflash card, or the same priced a900 that is much slimmer and only loses the motion fun.
We haven't got it yet, but this is what it app...

Remember, this is an entry level compact EV-DO, Bluetooth handset. This is not mean't to replace the MM-A940 (???) or even the A920...
To me and most of my customers, $20 is inconsequential. I can usually adjust the price more than this if it means an activation would otherwise walk.
Duh, it's not replacing the 940. The similarity I was getting at was most likely limited availability and motion fun.
It's not a replacement for anything its a redundant phone. Another redundant phone is: the Sanyo 3100 and the 8200.
I didn't think so, we are SPECULATING on the price right now, when it is released we will know the price. Until then shut up.
"Selling through them as fast as you can." It will only take our store a day to sell all five that they will send us. If samsung sends us more, then fine, I can sell ice cubes to eskimoes. I'm sure there are some people that find this phone attractive, and as I've said, it will sell. But for the rest of the people looking for a bluetooth EVDO phone, a lot will find the A920 a better phone.
This has strayed from the topic, who cares about the price, let that be argued on that thread. I'm talking about the redundancy of this model. There is nothing revolutionary about thi...

As for the price, full retail will be between $249 and $279.
Redundant? To a certain extent. Filling a gap is what I would call it. The SPH-A960 will carry over would-be A920 and A880 users into the summer when the A920 replacement is to be released.
Innovative? The design and aesthetics are. When you hold this handset in your hand you'll really get an idea of how compact it really is. Also, the sides are made of soft to the touch plastics, a very nice touch.
What it comes down to is, I don't care how good you say you are at selling, people will buy a...

The a560 is made by samsung, the 2300 by sanyo, and the 125 by lg. These are competitors. It's the same as with cars. You'll find similar models from honda, toyota, etc. This is not redundancy, it's competitiveness. It's redundant if all three were made by the same company. Hence, my argument.
The 3100, although it is redundant to the 8200, sells because it's price point is right, it's less than the 8300, the 8200's are gone, and someone in love wi...

If this is the price, then it's a great deal, but where are you getting the info from?
quit bickering about some lame ****. so what if its the same phone. who cares. so don't sell this one. it'll sell itself anyway. 🤨
(this also isn't a ego contest message board. i don't care how much you sell, yada yada yada. i hope you sell enough to support yourself.)
If it were given a better chance maybe, but it didn't sell (otherwise there wouldn't be any for a clearance sale).
Sometimes, I do actually know what I'm talking about.
