6700 VZW VoiceMail Speed Dial
Is anyone successfully able to edit thier speed dial #1(voicemail) to drop in the soft pauses w/ the password. For some reason I cannot get the soft pauses and pound to register. Now I successfully added Speed Dial #2 to drop in my password *86,,,#12345#
I know that the comma's represent a pause. But I need to know if its possible to drop that in for speed dial 1. Is is possible to mess w/ my speed dials through active sync? I just need that "lazy man's" feauture?

Use P or W for a hard pause, use your toggle key to activate the password once voice mail connects.

mac,
hey-on the speed dial, I do not understand what you mean by using toggles to drop in password. if you use VZS, you know after you need to drop the # sign. Now I got the voice mail speed dial set on #2(with all the pauses and password) and works great. I just cannot get # sign recognized for my speed dial 1.....have you got it set up? and could you please explain what you ment about using the toggle...thanks for all your great posts

Okay, say your voice mail number is 555-555-5555 and your password is #1234#, the way to enter this is 5555555555p#1234#. When the voice mail connects, you press down on your toggle button and the #1234# is initiated. If the p doesn't work, try a w instead. I use a p in mine and it works.
As far as not recognizing the #, not sure, works on mine.

Interesting, w works as a hard pause for me (needs toggling), but p doesn't work (as a soft pause).
