updating phone
I tried to do an update tonight and couldn`t. I got thru to verizon and heard the message about pressing 1 or 2 depending upon what you want to accomplish. When I pressed two , nothing happened and a few seconds later , it prompted me to press 1 or 2 again . after trying again, I got disconnected. I tried the same procedure a few times and each time I failed.

Are you sure you have the tones set to "On" in the setup of the phone? If not, the keys will not send a tone and "nothing" will happen.
