Which is what they will do for every customer. You only get discounts on new equipment one every 22 months. (not saying that there are exceptions) More than likely thought you WILL have to pay full retail especially since the damage to your samsung was your fault and water damage is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

That coverage is for repair of your phone or replacement with the same model, typically a refurbished one. Read the insurance you purchased...

If you have insurance there are no exceptions unless you use and abuse your policy. There are different rate plans on the insurance you will have to find yours out pay a $50.00 deductible i think it is. You can ask for your phone to be upgraded to a new phone model they did that for me from a V60c to a brand new V60s because they sent me a couple bad V60c refurbished models. So your best bet is to call and see what can be done its at least worth at a shot. But i do know they can upgrade you to a brand new phone and model not a massive upgrade but a jump ahead from what you had to get you by.

They will allow you to upgrade on your contract 2 months before your contract date is up. Thats not out of the normal for Verizon to do that. I wish Verizon still offered payment plans on their phones like they did way back when like you would buy a phone and they would divide the price up to 24 months on your account and you would just pay on it per month with the rest of your bill. But people took advantage of that system now you have to pay for the phones on the spot. The other option is if you have insurance on your phone to use that to get a different phone and see if you can upgrade your phone even if you have to pay a little more out of your pocket or call Verizon and see what they will do for you.

Well if you can at least get yourself a phone to get you by for now that would be good. But if you need any other help let me know.
