Why not update the 6820?
Or make the 6820 device longer and go for the rectangular display format. Delete the camera and offer multiple battery packs to address users who want more battery life.
As for the 9300, over 150 grams sounds like history to me in Europe.
Too bad it wasn't just a tad smaller. I have a 6620, and that's about as big as I'd like to go. If they could've made the screen/keybd about that size, it would be close to perfect.
I also kind of wish this one had a camera. While it's not necessary, there are occassions where it comes in handy. I am a meteorologist and many times I've been caught in a decent storm w/o a camcorder. The 6620's camera isn't great, but it's OK for capturing lighting and rotating clouds. A 1.3megapixel camera w/ glass lens would be awesome.

I think this was a smart move with the 9300 even though the average consumer might like to have the camera. Noting that the price is going to be pushing I'm guessing around $500, the business market will more likely pick this phone up.
I think I disagree with going the route of redefining the 6820. Basically, the 9300 is intended to have a blackberry client already, so I think that is going to be awesome.
The 9300 is really a PDA and sits right in the realm of other PDA devices, especially the heavy treos.
