Why not update the 6820?

Instead of toying with these monster bricks, Nokia should update its 6820 series device with a more powerful Blackberry email client, Symbian and a bigger display, i.e. 160x160x65k.

Or make the 6820 device longer and go for the rectangular display format. Delete the camera and offer multiple battery packs to address users who want more battery life.

As for the 9300, over 150 grams sounds like history to me in Europe.

This design still has some advantages over the 68xx form factor - things like the larger display and the proper keyboard are things some people just don't want to give up.

I agree. I want something that'll allow me to browse regular websites, view Office documents, and quickly type out emails. Hopefully Putty will work on this too.

A 1.3megapixel camera w/ glass lens would be awesome.

Essentially, I'm looking to have a single devi...

The 9300 is definately aimed at the business person who needs to enter a courthouse where camera phones are confiscated as well as "business sensitive meetings."

I think this was a smart move with the 9300 even though the average consumer might like to have the camera. Noting that the price is going to be pushing I'm guessing around $500, the business market will more likely pick this phone up.

I think I disagree with going the route of redefining the 6820. Basically, the 9300 is intended to have a blackberry client already, so I think that is going to be awesome.

The 9300 is really a PDA and sits right in the realm of other PDA devices, especially the heavy treos.

Basically, the 9300 is everything you're asking for except the ...
