loose slider??

I really enjoy this phone other than the battery life. Of course, everybody who sees my phone wants to try to flip it the freak open. A few tried a little too hard. I was wondering if anybody has experienced a bit of a wiggle with the upper half. There is also about millimeter gap between the two halves if I try to flip it open like the other morons did who wanted to check it out. 😕 I just want to know if this is normal with use or due to the systematic flippers. Thanks a bunch guys.

Not the greatest phone

If you ask me, this phone is pretty crap compared to the other video phones out there. The main reason is this, VIDEO CAPTURE is only 15 SECONDS! Whereas other phones can record minutes. Just seems too cheap to me.

LG MM-535 vs Sanyo MM-5600...FIGHT! (please help)

alright, here's the sitch:
1) I'm a college student
2) I currently own the Audiovox 6600, which I like most of the time.
3) I don't like having to take the huge PDA phone out to the bars/parties...plus pain in the ass to find a number in the contacts while driving...which is a major disadvantage.

SO: I figure I'll get a second phone put on my bill so I can have one that fits/works for going out partying.

Problem: I *love* my mp3 ringtones...i love assigning different songs to different people. I've been trying to do research on the best phone to use for my purposes (I plan on forwarding calls from my 6600 or something...that's another issue that i'll probably ask advise on later), anyways...i've seen on both forums that both do and ...

Video Caller ID

Can anyone who owns this phone tell me if it supports "Video Caller ID"? The Sprint specs as well as the User Manual don't mention it. But, the same is true for the Samsung A800, and it apparently supports Video Caller ID. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! 😎

hoping the 3rd will be better :?

I bought this phone about a month ago, the first phone i got had a bad battery, i returned the battery and got a new one, it still wasn't holding a charge for much longer than 6 hours even with limited use. So i went and replaced the phone and got a new one, with this fon the bat was fine, however it started to freeze. The screen would look like a very slow computer and there would be like a menu on top of the main screen and it looked almost like a DVD that skips. The screen would also stay white when i opened or closed the phone so i would do a power cycle and it would be fine again temporally. I was going to leave it alone and just live with it but then the screen turned off and not back on, the keypad stayed lit blue, but the screen as w...

The world does not need more slider phones

While I think the slider phone design is neet. Most ofmy customers don't like them. I'd be intersted to hear what any sprint rep's customers think of this phone. Most VZW customers dont' really like sliders.

pictures

did anyone else notice that the 4th picture isnt the same 535? the 4th almost looks similar to the 545 in that it doesnt have the line of blue keys down the center. or is that just the way telus's phones are made?

Saw the LG 535 today... 8-0

went to my local telus dealer and found the display model of the LG 535, OMG it's beautiful 😁 the slide is solid and it's a nice package (sprint version looks better). It is however a bit pricey @ $250 on a 3 year contract so about $400 - $450 non-contract. Again, all i saw was the promo model so couldn't see how it functions. Mixed answers on a release date though. some dealers are telling me May - June and others are telling me anytime now. But my guess would be soon since the telus store has the display phone.

Checked today and in the Philadelphia area they do not have them in the stores as of yet. Sales Rep indicated some time next week at earliest.
