First a disclaimer: I do not have it yet. Following is from HoFo posts. If you have a transflash: "I have not encountered any problems using the TF card. Just drag and drop from my computer, and the phone recognises it. Ive been putting the MP3s into the "audio" directory. Its funny though, there is a ringtone folder on the TF and it doesn't recognise mp3s when I put them there.
I'd like to add that the Mp3 player does work fine for most 128kb/ps mp3s.. I was using a higher bit rate, Some 128kb/ps songs still dont work though.

No need to pix message yourself the ringtones you want.

All you need to do is rename the mp3 to a midi file and transfer it to the TF. The phone will then let you move it from the TF card to the phone to be us...

I read that you have the TF card and that you have been putting the files in the shared -> audio folder. I do the exact same thing and when i put it into my phone and go to switch storage device the phone basically freezes, i can press end and everything is the phone is functional but it is basically blocking me from playing my mp3s. it worked once for me using the same technique so im thinking it may be a problem with the card/phone any suggestions thanks

You can put it anywhere on the card, the phone still sees it.

As for the freezing porblem.. Delete everything on the TF card, go into the phone and attempt to see the songs on the newly refreshed card (obvoislu there won't be any). Take it out now, and access it by thge PC. The card should be reformatted with all of motos folders. Now add the mp3s to the root directory (I just made an "mp3" folder where the moto folder was).

After you do all this, try it again. If it still happens, make sure the card is perfectly clean--if not then you may have a defective phone..
