Jul 19, 2010, 12:01 PM   by Eric M. Zeman

AT&T and Sharp today announced the addition of the FX to AT&T's collection of QWERTY-equipped quick messaging devices. AT&T says that this is the first device from Sharp to be added to its roster of phones. The FX is one of a handful of devices available from AT&T that offers access to AT&T's FLO-based Mobile TV service. For $10 per month, FX users will have access to live TV on ABC Mobile, Adult Swim Mobile, CBS Mobile, CNBC, CNN Mobile, COMEDY CENTRAL, Disney Channel, ESPN Mobile TV, FOX Mobile, msnbc, MTV, NBC 2Go, Nickelodeon and the movie channel Crackle. The FX is a slider with a full keyboard for messaging. It has a 2 megapixel camera with video capture, Bluetooth 2.1, HTML browser, AT&T Social Net software, and AT&T Navigator. AT&T said the FX will go on sale July 25 for $100 after mail-in rebate with new agreement (requiring $20 minimum messaging and/or data plan).
