Nokia N97 Mini Makes Its Official Debut

Sep 2, 2009, 5:49 AM   by Eric M. Zeman

Today at Nokia World, Nokia introduced the N97 Mini, a smaller version of the N97 multimedia computer. The N97 Mini loses the D-pad that was located to the left of the QWERTY keyboard, and this allowed Nokia to shorted the phone's dimensions. It has a 3.2-inch touch screen display that folds out to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard. Other features are similar ot that of its larger brother, which include quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band 900/1900/2100 WCDMA radios. It also has stereo Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and video capture. The N97 Mini has 8GB of on-board storage and can support microSD cards up to 16GB. The N97 Mini will be available in October and will cost approximately $640.
