I didnt realize there was a difference in these...I hear there are a few updates in the HS850 as far as battery life and bluetooth version but how can you tell them apart, dont they look exactly the same? Or does the HS850 come in Black only, and the HS810 come in Gray/Silver only??

Im just confused how anyone can tell them apart. If the colors resemble the different models then thats easy enough.

anyone? thanks

Well, I own a black HS850. I purchased it online, and it does last a long time. I bought a HS810 for my ex g/f a while back. It was gray.
You would think that would solve the problem huh? Wrong. I walked into Cingular the other day, and they had HS850's on display, in gray.

In conclusion, HS850 is the upgrade of the HS810. I believe that the ones they sell over the world are black (I had chinese writing on my box), and the gray ones are made for the US. I don't think you can tell them apart, unless they have the model number on them, which I couldn't check right now since I don't have mine on me.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the confirmation...

Ive been doing some research on these things and that is what it seems like is going on. My friends headset (which I thought was a gray HS850) is really a HS810.

Now that I know the HS850 is the newer and better model, now Im wondering what is better out of the HS850 and the new H3 RAZR piece. From what I hear the HS850 is solid and has been getting good reviews and the H3 is still a little buggy/problematic...

what I dont understand though is that the HS850 came out a long time ago, and the H3 is brand new ... why would it be worse?? I like the H3 because its new and cool looking...but I dont want it if the HS850 out performs it.

any input is appreciated, thanks!
