How good is the e815?
Considering switching to this phone (VZW), currently have a Samsung a670 which does the job quite nicely. Like the speakerphone & BT on the e815. Is it worthwhile to switch? The a670 has provided excellent sound quality and service. The only other Moto I have owned was a v300 on T-Mobile and it was decent, not great, but decent.
Other than the extra features of the e815, what is better - Samsung or Moto?

I'm a recent a670 to E815 convert and IMHO it is well worth the switch.
I'll never have a non-blue tooth phone again.

Pheyd,
Other than the BT & Speakerphone, what are your thoughts on this phone compared to the a670?
Call clarity
Battery life
Holding a signal
Sound
Thanks.

I just got the E815 today. At first, I was sad to part with my A670, but right away after using the E815, I noticed that the call quality is one of the clearest I've heard so far. Also, the reception seems to be superior to the A670, which is very important to me since we barely get cell phone reception in the canyon. Battery life is also decent on this phone. Overall, this is one of the best phones I've had from Verizon. My only complaint was to transfer all 99 phone numbers from the old phone to this one.....something I never had to do with a SIM card phone.

Here is a question. I am a Samsung/Lg user in the past and have preferred their address book format (multiple numbers per name) amongst other things. The VZN store rep told me this phone's menu is just like the V60 and so you have one number per name entry. My hands on look at the store led me to believe it is the same as the V60. The review on this site says it has multiple numbers per name. Any idea which is correct? Also, has anyone compared to the A890? Other than bluetooth, what are the other differences?

I have the E815 and you CAN have multiple numbers per name.

Neels right but they are listed in your phonebook as different entries, for instance I have two numbers for my girlfriend one home and one cell and they are listed in the PB as 2 entries as in two names. which I think is kind of annoying, but easily overlooked with the other qualities of the phone.
