i know a little about cell phones but i was wondering if i could get a prepaid service and hook it up on NAM2 and use that number and plan for texting becuase verizon is outragous i was goin to get pagplus probably ! if this is possible please reply and if anyone knows how to do this please let me know

Forget about it. Not gonna happen. Nextel is currently the only service provider that can attach 2 numbers to 1 phone.

yes it is possible to setup dual nam with VZW and yes you can do post pay/prepay but i'm not sure what pagplus is or how it comes into play, you will just have to let vzw know you are setting up your phone for dual nam functionality, dual nam option is kinda useless though because you have to switch between the nams manually and only one ph# would be active at any given time.
Have you looked into the new vzw text pkgs lately? $5 250, $10 unlimited in/500(non vzw), $15 unlimited in/1000(non vzw) & $20 unlimited in/2500 (non vzw) and all packages include both text/pix & flix messaging and if you exceed allowance then is charged at $.10ea no matter if text/pix or flix.
