can i change models and sync the info to the new phone?

i'm thinking about upgrading from my VX6000 but would like to not have to re-enter all my phone numbers (almost 300). is it possible to use Bitpim to sync the numbers to *any* new model(s)?

Or you could just go to a Verizon store and have it done.
