I'm eligible for a new phone with Verizon. I was having problems with my lg vx7000 then I killed it by accidentally pouring water on it so I'm using an older, highly frustrating phone in the mean time. I don't particuarly like any of the ones out now (everyone has a RAZR, thought about the V but too bulky and bad reviews). I've been looking at the sch-a990. I know it is supposed to come out in Q3 but does anyone have a more roundabout idea, as in what month perhaps? Thanks b/c I cant take this pos for long.

i haven't read a whole lot of reviews about the lg vx9800 but i own it and it's the best phone from any manufaturer i've ever owned and i've had 10 to 15 phones over the past 13 years and i would very highly recommend it. hell give it 15 days and see for yourself.
as far as the A990 it was just approved by the fcc and as of yet it's not even a guarentee that it will be carried, not officially or unofficially approved by vzw at this point, but i'll tell you one thing if the a990 does get approved and is released it will be my next phone.
