Does anyone know of any tweaks for the Speed Dial feature on the Samsung A920? What I am looking for in specific is as follows:
1. The A920 allows 98 programmable speed dial numbers, however, it does not allow
multiple numbers for the same speed dial contact.
”¢ Ex: I would like to program my friend xyz for speed dial # 2. So I edit xyz’s name in the contact list and assign speed dial # 2 to his home phone number. I then want to call xyz on his mobile phone (in a hurry) so I press 2 which bring up xyz (home). I then use the left button to move to the next phone number for xyz, but no dice. It would appear that each and every phone number must have its own speed dial assignment. Therefore, if I have 5 phone numbers f...

My suggestion is to use the voice dial (voice service) feature and program the voice service onto a shortcut on your 4-way navigation button. That way you can activate voice dial by simply pressing one button and then dial whichever number you want in your contacts (e.g. in your case "call xyz home", or "call xyz mobile"). Not exactly speed dial, but the next best thing though. I have to say that i'm impressed with the voice dial software (Voicesignal) on Samsung phones. I am English and it handles my accent just fine. Works well with speech dialing any number not in your contacts also. The voice dial also has a help menu that explains how it works, and you can train it to your voice if necessary (didn't need to in my case). Also works with ...
