Today Samsung announced a new touch-based device called the Jet. It has an 800MHz processor and runs the Touchwiz 2.0 user interface and AMOLED screen and WVGA resolution. The Jet launches with a brand-new HTML web browser called Dolfin that is based on WebKit. It offers multi-window browsing (up to 5 windows at a time) that can load and render pages in the background at the same time. It is also compatible with widgets and has an ad blocker. The multi-purpose address field will handle URL entry, Google search and web site search. You'll be able to zoom in and out with just one finger. The Jet also carries GPS and 3D navigation. The Jet will launch internationally and Samsung is still in talks with U.S. carriers.

Yes, we know the photo looks like the Omnia II. It's not a mistake. They are different phones that look nearly identical.
Yes, and the Behold, Memoir, instinct, and all the other samsung touch phones...

Does the Jet name belong to Kyocera?

Years ago Kyocera had a phone named the "Jet" for Amp'd Mobile. Does Kyocera hold a trademark for that name?
