DLNA

Digital Living Network Alliance

DLNA refers to both an organization and the technology standard they created and promote.

The DLNA standard enables easy sharing of music, photos, and videos over an existing home network. A typical scenario might be streaming music from your PC to your networked TV, or streaming video from your phone to your TV via WiFi.

DLNA includes UPnP, which makes it easy to set up the connection between two devices.
