Nokia 6101: Domestic vs. European Version

Can someone here please help me by explaining the GSM bands this phone operates on and if there are truly Domestic and European versions?

I am trying to purchase an unlocked version via eBay. Some auctions describe the 6101 as a World Phone stating that it can switch between GSM 850/1800/1900 and 900/1800/1900 (not sure about this claim...); other auctions only describe it as running on the GSM 850/1800/1900 bands.

Really want to be able to use this phone overseas thus my preference for the European version---if a European version truly exists. If I do manage to get my hands on a European version of the 6101 will I definitely be able to use it in the U.S.?

6102 = 850/1800/1900
