iPhone name change

I don't know why the Cisco people won't just let Apple keep the iPhone name! Everyone already recognizes the phone as the iPhone, and if they changed the name of it, everyone would still keep calling it the iPhone, and they would never call it anything else. It would be hopeless to even try to change the name of it.

See you don't understand business. Cisco owns "iPhone" and Apple is going to making money on that name. Obviously Cisco likes to make money as well so they are going to make sure they are paid for the name. They can change the name, they may have to; but they cannot control what people actually call it.

it's all about money, like the other poster said. they technically own the name "iPhone". i think apple should just put parentheses around iphone so it may not technically be a violation of copyright. (iPhone) instead of iPhone. lol. get to keep the name and give Cisco a kick in the @ss.
