Is the speaker sound better then the Motorola V710? Also, Can you talk to someone on the speaker, with the flip closed? Does the extended battery make the phone thicker?

I can't compare it to the v710 as I never had one but, the speaker phone on the RAZR V3M is pretty loud. Yes you can talk while it is closed on speaker. Yes the extended battery makes it thicker.
