when are sprint customers going to be able to bleep nextel customers and as far as the plans go what is sprint going to take from the nextel plans is it free incoming calls? i have verizon and im just waiting on my contract to end so i can switch to sprint

I don't expect Sprint and Nextel to completly merge for at least a year, maybie more. I don't think they've made any decisions on what they will do with the plans. I would wait until after, then try and find some info.

Eventually the direct connect will be seamless form nextel to sprint. Like Ali said about a year. When your contract ends you can still switch. Then when they join you will gain. Remember you can join with sprint and still get coverage of verizon along with sprints. If coverage is a issue for you.
