its about time vzw gets some new phones...I renewed my contract 2 months ago and tried several phones with discontent, Im holding onto my Moto V60 until 4th quarter which appears to be promising. Seems all the good phones are GSM, not CDMA that VZW uses. I was unimpressed with the V710. Im sorry I didnt sign on with Cingular or TMob..

What phone are you using now? I just stopped using the Audiovox CDM 8600, which was a trimode with outer Caller ID and no camera. It was a nice little phone, but I wanted the bells and whistles and got a CDM 9900.

I have had a Verizon Audiovox CDM 8900, which I have had to replace 4 times (once for not receiving calls/no reception, twice for not being able to charge it/phone not "recognizing" its own charger, and once for the flip-up not working). Each time the Verizon store replaced it with a "refurbished" unit, which were possibly part of a "bad batch" that store had received -- a fact which one service employee told me on the side, apparently against local company policy (the other service folks kept asserting -- far too quickly -- that they had NEVER seen these problems before!)
