rice bag method for wet phone works?

Sep 2, 2013, 2:19 PM
Hi guys,
I read on this blog http://www.thephonetown.com that putting your wet phone in rice bag could save it from getting dead. Just want to know if any one has actually experienced it and does it work or not. If this doesn't work, then is there any other method to save a wet phone? Asking because I'm someone who keep dropping my phone in water.

They say if you leave your wet cellphone in a bowl of rice at night the rice will attract some asians that will fix your electronics for free!

From my past experiences, here is the best thing to do...because rice doesn't work.

Oh, and these two methods can be used up to 2 weeks after the phone is wet and it will still fix your phone..

Preheat your oven to 450 degrees and leave the phone in there for 5-10 minutes.

Microwave your phone for 10-15 minutes.

Hope this helps!

Better trick.
1) Go to Cellphone store with old phone.
2) Reach in back pocket pull out wallet.
3) Pay $600 for new phone.
4) Throw old phone in trash.

Problem solved.
Additional: buy an Otterbox Armor or a Trident.
